With the assistance of our in-house developed software, known as MRT (Meridian Reporting Tool), our team of experienced investor relations professionals can meet the processing and reporting needs of all types of investors, from whatever jurisdiction the subscription is sourced. Our services include:

  1. • Maintaining a complete and accurate share register with the ability to properly handle either equalization or series methodologies

  2. • Receiving subscription documents, from shareholders or partners, issuing acknowledgement of receipt and scrutinizing for completeness

  3. • Receiving redemption or withdrawal requests, issuing acknowledgement of receipt and scrutinizing for completeness

  4. • Conducting first level anti-money laundering review, referring any exceptional items to our compliance officer

  5. • Taking all additional actions to ensure that only subscribers who meet the standards established by the regulatory authorities and the investment manager are accepted as shareholders or partners

  6. • Conducting ongoing anti-money laundering procedures to ensure that all shareholders and partners maintain their cleared status

  7. • Monitoring funds’ bank operating accounts to ensure subscription monies are received on a timely basis

  8. • Issuing contract notes once subscribers have been accepted, subscription proceeds received and, when applicable, the net asset value has been finalized

  9. • Issuing share certificates, if required

  10. • Executing properly authorized wire transfers to move accepted subscriptions from a fund’s bank operating account to its prime brokerage account

  11. • Reporting redemption requests to investment managers and, if necessary, the directors or managing member to determine if exceptional action needs to be taken, such as imposing gating restrictions, forgoing lockup periods or waiving early redemption fees

  12. • Issuing contract notes once all redemption documents have been properly received, any additional anti-money laundering procedures have been performed and any special permissions have been forthcoming

  13. • Initiating payment of authorized redemption amounts from fund’s operating account

  14. • Performing ongoing tests to ensure that any parameters established for a fund are not being breached

  15. • Preparing investor statements, which can be easily modified to include information that an investor and/or manager finds helpful — performance data, account transaction details, etc.

  16. • Preparing reports relating to a fund’s investor activity on a scheduled basis, as requested, or both

  17. • Allowing secure online access to account information using strict authorization protocols
